Behind Closed Doors
Tonier was featured in the 2007 short documentary, Behind Closed Doors, in which four women-- struggling to overcome childhood and adult trauma--- speak powerfully about their experiences within the mental health, addictions and criminal justice systems, as well as their hope for recovery.
Behind Closed Doors won the ‘Best Documentary Award’ at the All American Film Festival, and was an official selection at the 2007 Maryland Film Festival and the 2007 Baltimore Women’s Film Festival.
