Screenings

Since its release in March 2010, Healing Neen has screened at film festivals,  college campuses, law schools, churches, the United Nations, Military bases, and hundreds of trainings and conferences on trauma, mental health, substance abuse, adult corrections, juvenile justice and social services around the world.

For more than two years, we were able to provide free copies through the generosity of organizations promoting trauma recovery.  Those opportunities have ended, but we are able to make the DVD available at a lower cost than the standard market rate for educational videos. Proceeds from sales are used solely to continue efforts to expand awareness of trauma and recovery.

WANT TO HOST A SCREENING OF HEALING NEEN?

The issues raised in the film include some of the most daunting challenges for society – child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, criminal incarceration, drug abuse and mental health.  We have found that community screenings and the discussions afterward provide an incredible opportunity to recapture hope, passion and compassion for those still struggling on the fringes.  We encourage communities to also use the film as a springboard for discussion on how to make the changes that are necessary so that all the other “Neens” in the world can recover.

For public use, which includes community screening events, organizational trainings, use in classrooms, and conferences, we will provide you with a DVD and license.
